So here's the plan, 4-5 friends, couple cases of beer, sailboat, island, cooler full of lovingly prepared food.

Why the name?

Becuase the original goal was to leave Friday afternoon from the Pier in St Petersburg FL, sail to Egmont key for the night, then down to Sarasota Saturday. While in Sarasote we would, in the spirit of Captain Morgan, abduct Russell and proceed to pillage various tiki bars in the area.

A fortunate turn of events came when I found I was unable to leave work early on Friday, so we won't be able to set sail until Saturday morning.

Due to that delay, Russell is actually able to join us for the sailing portion of the trip. Now our itinerary consists of sailing from St Pete to Egmont Key. Enjoy the island for the day and either hang on the hook there, or at a great nearby anchorage at Desoto Pt if the weather turns.

The crew will assemble Friday evening April 27, 2007 and prepare the boat. We plan to set sail early Saturday, sail down under the Sunshine Skyway bridge to Egmont Key.

Speaking of food, Stacy is excited to provide us with pre-assemled goodies. Here is the email exchange describing the menu we will enjoy:

Jon and I talked, and with everyones food issues (ie Russ), Jon and I decided on the bolded and underlined items for the menu. If anyone has a problem, let us know ASAP.

Ok, here are the menu possibilites. As a group we should decide on two
from each category. I will buy, and we can sort out the rest later.

If possible, please reply today. I meant to send this yesterday, sorry.

I am bringing 2 coolers, we may need 1 more. Food only will go in the
boat icebox, beverages in the coolers we bring. I will bring my
sunshower, so we can rinse off in fresh water.

What else do you need?
Towel
swiming trunks
change of clothes
bug spray
small flashlight
windbreaker/sweatshirt just in case.
sunglasses
hat
medicines that you take
extra liver
