So I worked a bit more on the boat hull/table in my garage this weekend. About 2 hours fileting and glassing most of the rest of the interior seams. I finally tried using a zip lock bag as a pastry bag to apply the thickend epoxy. I had mixed results. Sometimes I had the epoxy too thin, other times too thick to get it into the bag. As far as application, it did make it a bit easier. My biggest screw up was the plastic ties stitching the whole thing together, they stick out too much for the size of my filets, so there a bumps down each seam. I keep telling myself this is jsut a quick and dirty boat, but it still bugs me a bit.

The pump on the hardener was sputtering, so some of my mixes may have been off. I ended up going to my office and grabbig a postal scale, wrapping it in plastic wrap and weighing out batches. That worked really well, and I think I will keep using that method in the future.

No pics of the actual work, since I didn't want to muck up my camera. Now I'm out of epoxy and funds, so I will have to wait a while to finish the seams.
