Since I screwed up Chine 2, I had to loft and cut it again. the good news is practice does help! This time around I have much smoother lines. One piece of advice that I was given was to cut just outside of my lines, then use a plane to true everything up. With my second round of cuts, I got much better at this.
So tonight I will butt the pieces together and be ready to stitch the hull tomorow night.
I now have a goal, I want to finish the boat before the Cedar Key small boat meet in May. That should be attainable. I hope I do a good enough job to be proud of my handiwork there. There are always such great home built boats there.
Here are a few of the picks that I took so far.
Close up of butt block being glued
Long view of bottom and side panels
Only 2 frames on this design!
