I took a few pics at lunch today and added them to the set of construction pictures. It is nice to have some progress after so many months of being idle. One of the pictures shows the outside of the keel seam with a pair of needle nose pliers next to it. Nice showcase for my main mistake on this build. The only stitch and glue boat I had done before was less than 8 feet long, so I just plotted the points on the ply, connected the dots and cut. There wereno major gaps. This is m first long, pointy boat and the distance between the points combined with my less than perfect cuts made for some good sized gaps. Good thing epoxy is gap filling! Next time I will use a flexible batten to make sure I have a smooth curve between points. At least I cut both sides at the same time, so the gaps are consistent on each piece.
