I have spent the last few weekends down at the boat, for many reasons. The most applicable to this site is the fact that it has been gorgeous out. We have done some daysailing, and (yesterday) some day motoring because of light winds.

With the temps remaing comfortable it is really cool to have a Good Old Boat. my 1979 San Juan 28 is perfict for an overnight. It is even better when dockside ammenities such as a head and shower are available. Not to mention that being berthed in downtown St Pete allows me to grab some great food and hit fun places to enjoy a libation or two.

On November 30, my band played our 1 year anniversary show at the Uptown Bar on Central. It was really nice to just wander home afterwards, and our guitar player had a place to crash up in the v-berth too!

I had both my dogs with me, which was an experience!
